Following the publication of examination results, students may request a post-results service if they believe there may have been an issue with the marking or administration of an examination. Services available through the awarding bodies include access to scripts, clerical re-checks, reviews of marking, and, where applicable, appeals. It is important to understand that following a review of marking, a student’s marks and grade may increase, remain unchanged, or decrease, and the revised grade will become the awarded outcome. Students should discuss any concerns with the school’s Examinations Officer and relevant subject staff before submitting a request.
