Key dates for Sixth form

Year 12

Year 12 Parents’ Information Evening: A chance for parents to meet the Sixth Form Team and learn how to support their children in the transition to Further Education, as well as an outline of all the opportunities and the support available at key points in their journey towards university, apprenticeships or the world of work. Date: Monday 23rd September 2024 6:00pm. 

Year 12 Mock Examinations: Mock 1: will be taken in class in the week commencing 6th January 2025. Mock 2: will be taken in class in the weeks commencing 23rd and 30th June 2025. 

Year 12 Reports: Will be sent home twice a year: in mid-January following Mock 1, and in July following Mock 2. 

Year 12 Parents’ Evening: Will be held on Monday 27th January with family interviews to discuss progression in July 2025. 

Year 13
Year 13 Parents’ UCAS Workshop: A hands-on workshop demonstrating to families how to support their students in creating an outstanding personal statement based on the draft they have completed using resources shared over the summer. Students should attend with the question prompts completed. Information will also be shared on predicted grades, references, mock interviews, student finance applications and support offered. Date: Friday 6th September 2024 6:00pm.   

Year 13 UCAS Predicted Grades These will be shared with parents and students in the week commencing 23rd September.  

Year 13 Mock examinations:  Mock 1: will be held in class in the week commencing 4th November 2024.  Mock 2 will be held in class in the weeks commencing 3rd March 2025. 

Year 13 Reports: Will be shared with parents at the end of November and mid-March to allow time for discussion at Parents’ Evenings. 

Year 13 Parents’ Evenings will be held on Monday 24th March 2025.
