Key dates for Sixth form

Sixth Form Open Evening: Thursday 9th October 6:00pm.

Year 12

Year 12 Parents’ Information Evening: A chance for parents to meet the Sixth Form Team and learn how to support their children in the transition to Further Education, as well as an outline of all the opportunities and the support available at key points in their journey towards university, apprenticeships or the world of work. Date: Wednesday 10th September 2025 5:30pm.

Year 12 Preparatory Assessments: In class assessments will take place in the week commencing 6th October 2025 and mock examinations will occur in the two weeks commencing on the 15th of June 2026

Year 12 Reports: Will be sent home twice a year: in mid-January following their intial assessments, and in July following their mock examinations. 

Year 12 Parents’ Evening: Will be held on Monday 2nd February with additional family interviews, where required, to discuss progression in July 2026. 

Year 13

Personal Statement Workshop: Thursday 4th September 5:00pm

Year 13 Preparatory examinations:  In-class assessments will be held in the week commencing the 13th of October 2025.  Mock examinations will be held in the two weeks commencing on the 09th February 2026.

Year 13 Reports: Will be shared with parents in early November and mid-March to allow time for discussion at Parents’ Evenings. 

Year 13 Parents’ Evenings will be held on Monday the 10th November 2025 and Monday the 23rd March 2026.
