Dress Code

Our Dress Code was designed by Sixth Form students themselves, to create a sense of identity and allow our oldest students to model the standards for the younger pupils.  The expectation is formal, professional dress.

  • Boys: Suit: Formal trouser suit, navy blue, charcoal/dark grey or black.
  • Formal collared shirt in a light colour. Boys must wear a Sixth Form Tie which are available for purchase on Induction Day. £5 for one, £12 for three, in a choice of colours.   Formal shoes dark shoes and socks should be worn.
  • Girls: Suit: Formal trousers, skirt, or shift dress with matching blazer in navy blue, charcoal/ dark grey or black. 
  • Formal shirt or blouse in a light colour. Girls may choose to wear a tie.  Skirts and dresses should be a modest length, on or just above the knee, appropriate for a professional setting. Formal shoes and plain dark or flesh-coloured tights.
  • Hair / Make-up / Nails / Jewellery / Piercings: We ask that these are in keeping with the standards and values of our Dress Code: formal, professional dress.
  • Not Appropriate Items: Hoodies, sweatshirts, casual jumpers or logo/ designer jumpers; trainers; denim; leather; skinny fit trousers, leggings or jeggings, miniskirts, bodycon or knitted dresses.
