Entrance Requirements

Typically, students will be required to achieve a minimum of a GCSE Grade 6 in each of the subjects they wish to study at A Level, but Grade 5 in some arts and humanities subjects will be accepted. Maths requires a Grade 7 and Sciences a Grade 7 or 77 if combined sciences have been taken. For BTEC Level 3 students the entry requirement is a minimum of 4 GCSE Grade 4s or BTEC Level 2 equivalents. Any student who does not achieve a Grade 4 for either Maths or English will have the opportunity to study and re-sit alongside their other courses.

We are happy to be able to offer the AS Level in several subjects, as well as the Extended Project Qualification.  In this way, students can keep their options open, starting with 4 subjects if you wish and swapping them after a week or so if you have made a false start.

We are justifiably proud of the high-quality teaching each student receives from dedicated subject specialists with plenty of teaching time to maximise top results and to give support where necessary.  You can achieve your ambitions here, in a cheerful, family atmosphere where you can be your authentic self.
