Year 11

Homepage for Year 11.

In Year 11, pupils carry through the subjects they chose to study in Year 10, with the final GCSE and BTEC examinations as the end point of the year.

St Leonard’s prides itself on the level of academic achievement of our pupils and in Year 11, pupils are given as much pastoral and academic support as possible to help them through what can sometimes be a stressful period of a young person’s life. This support includes mentoring programmes, revision session programmes and bespoke homework tasks.

Given the importance of Year 11, parents/carers have the opportunity to discuss the progress of their children on several occasions during Year 11, including two parents’ evenings and a parents’ information evening.

We take several opportunities during the year to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11s, for example after mock examinations and at the end of the academic year, pupils are invited to Prom where we take the opportunity for a final celebration of their five years at St Leonard’s.

There is another page dedicated to specific GCSE information, e.g. exam boards, revision timetable, Parents’ Information Evenings, which can be found here.
