Summer School

Getting ready for September.

Every summer, as part of our transition of pupils who are finishing Year 6 and who will join Year 7 in September, we offer a Summer School for three days in the first week of the summer break. More than 90% of pupils who will be joining us in September usually attend our Summer School.

This is a further opportunity, following New Intake Day at the end of the school year, for pupils to meet new friends, familiarise themselves with the school grounds, meet key staff and build their confidence ahead of starting in September. Each day includes several exciting activities from a range of subjects and lunch is provided. Pupils should be dropped off at 9am and collected at 3pm.

Further details are sent to parents and pupils in the final half-term of the year as part of the transition process and sign-up is done through the school website.
