CyberFirst Competition North East Finals

On Wednesday the 4th of February, the Computer Science department took the ‘Algorithm Avengers’ team to the regional final of the CyberFirst competition at RTC North in Sunderland. The team had to compete against 9 other teams from the North-East on problem solving and cyber security challenges designed by different technology companies who are based in our region. Although the team didn’t win, we had a great day and it was a fantastic achievement to be recognised as one of the top 10 teams in the North-East.
