GCSE Success for St. Leonard’s Catholic School Students 

St. Leonard’s Catholic School is proud to celebrate another year of exceptional GCSE results. This year’s achievements are a testament to our students’ dedication and perseverance, supported by the unwavering commitment of our staff and the wider school community. 

This year, over 75% of all GCSE grades at St. Leonard’s were awarded at Grade 5 or above, with more than a third of all grades falling within the highest bands of Grade 9-7. These results place the school significantly above national averages once again. 

Acting Headteacher, Mr. David Simmons, shared his praise: 
” There is so much to celebrate in these results. They reflect the determination and resilience of our students, alongside the strong encouragement and guidance they have received throughout their journey. It is a wonderful moment to recognise just how much has been achieved and to celebrate everyone who has played a part.” 

Achievement Lead, Mrs. Aisling Stewart, added: 
“The GCSE results for this year group are a reflection of the positive attitude and strong sense of community they have developed, supported by the encouragement and care that are such an important part of life at St. Leonard’s. We have had a lovely morning celebrating the successes and acknowledging everyone who has helped make them possible.” 

Many students will now go on to the school’s high-performing Sixth Form, while others have secured excellent vocational pathways and apprenticeships.
